The one thing that will be synonymous with our characters will be the type of clothing they wear. Similar to Krept and Konan being sponsored by Puma. Which is why we have decided to have our artist branded in some Nike clothing, so that its similar to Krept and Konan, but different in the sense that it's another brand.
This is one of the items you will likely see in the video. This is because we wanted to have something that the audience can identify with. Which is why will will incorporate Nike trainers, Nike tracksuits. As this will inevitably show that the artists are in fact sponsored by Nike. Therefore, promoting their company to the views, that will gain profit for the company. Likewise, its effective at keeping things authentic. It helps to generate the Urban like lifestyle of UK artists, that the audience can once again identify with.
Another element of synergy will want to use, is the use of the prayer hand position. As we want it to be used in our digipak and have it shown in the music video. As it helps to maintain that icon message we are trying to achieve throughout all our products. Therefore, our audience will then identify and internal that gesture with our artists.
Another element we will be incorporating into our videos and ancillary work is 'Prayer Hands'. There are many reasons we are adding this to our video. Firstly because it adds to the story. Roses is a song that talks about the lose of Kevin, someone who was close to the main artists. The symbol of the prayer hands means a few things. Brings up the religious background of the two stars and is a symbol of praying for their friend, hoping he ends up in heaven. This is something that will be seen across the videos and other forms of work because of its significance to our song , so we have decided to make it a consistent part of it.
The idea for the Digipak was to have me and Tolu facing each other, both looking down and, eyes closed and hands together. This is a powerful image of both men praying for their lost friend and is something relatable to the audience as many have probably prayed on a daily basis or after the loss of someone. This is something you will see in all the work we produce.
