One typical music video used in the grime scene a more unusual type. There aren't many shots , always from the front. This is a full performance with the assistance of visuals and animations. This is similar to many music videos in grime typically done by GRM daily and to a lesser extent LinkUpTv and BBC radio 1 Xtra. This is an example of how grime, compared to hip hop is mostly based on straight performance and their lyrics whereas hop hop is more about the flashy objects they own.

Another type of music video used in the one shown in this song below. This is a type of music video that has been in grime for some time but most recently seen in 3 songs, Stormzy - Know me from , Bugzy Malone - Watch your mouth and this one. This type of music video involves the artist walking down their street or road and just rapping to the camera. It often involves other people and shots of the area they live in and came from. This is regarded as more of a freestyle.





Section Boyz - Flashy things
This is a more traditional music video done by Section Boyz. This uses the normal conventions of a music video , many shots and cuts , different scenes and settings as they rap repeatedly and everything is cut together. Added with the flashing lights and the background this is a very good example of a music video. There isn't a narrative as there is no story but it is very effective regardless.
