The video is 6 minutes long, breaking the typical convention of a music video length which is usually 3ish minutes. However, it is understandable because this is a remix with features of other artists, meanign that it will in fact be a long music video, as there will be many scene to be seen. This music video doesn't take on the theme or having a narrative structure, its strictly a performance. As you see the artists singing/rapper at the camera, rather than having any performace going on.
I love this song, esspecially the original which is featured somewhere on this blog. This one, I really did enojy watching it, as it has featured Wretch 32 who is like a big brother figure to me as I've grown up with his younger sister so I know him on a personal level. Also Chip as we lived on the same estate most of my life. It takes on the same structure as the orginial music video before they were signed. Now they are signed to Atlantic records. Meaning they are no longer independent artists, they are mainstream artists. Well Done boys! London boys setting levels.
At the start of the clip, it states the formats it is or will be available on. Maintaining the function music videos are meant to have, andthat is promoting themselves or a product. They clearly do that right at the start.Via showing the song art. I love the way the video starts. With the various jump cuts from different scenes and snippets of other old songs like Giggs- Talking the hardest. The use of effects is great for the different transitions. As in the fast forwards. It is so appealing to its target audience because of how urban it is, and because it has different artists featured it makes it universal. The use of base tracks allows the music video to have structure, meanwhile the different jump cuts allows you to see the scene from another angle. It just looks like the making of this video must have been so fun. Proper good vibes.
In terms of the costume, it helps to portray the urban style of UK music. Likewhiles, with the props lke the quadbikes. Usually driven by south london guys, and it represents the thug like gangster cool. In terms ofthe location, it all situated in London. BIG UP. Ranging from stratford westfield, Finsbury Park in Chip's scene. And then the main scene somewhere in the rural sides of east London. It just shows that, though they are mainstream artists, they are trying to keep their style authentic, they don't watch to change too much, as they could cause them to lose their orginial target audience.
In the videos itself, there are instagram famous personals there too. Whiles there are also other UK artists like Pagey Cakey and my cousin Avelino. Although they aren't there to perform, it just shows that here in the UK we are collective and try our very best to support each other with our successes. That's what I love about UK artists.

The aspects of Carol Vernalis I've identified are as followed:
1)The use of continuous editing, which gives the music video a form of structure and flow. Helping you understand the song better.
2)The use of base tracks with they have gone on to merge them as jump cuts, one again giving te song structure and allowing the audience to see what is going on from various perspectives. It allows people to have their own interpretation of what it is that they see when they watch the music video.
3)The use of obvious editing, you see that literally in the first 30 seconds of the music video, were the guys are driving their bikes, there is a special effect they use, that makes that shot seem like there's an error or an old tape that goes all funny. Likewise, the use of there group name that is editted in, which is great for them, to brand their product. It shows the audience who they are right before the song kicks in.
4)The camera moves in sync with the music. This is only seen at a specific part of the song, and that is when Haile says "This is the remix, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just in my zone"
5)There is a lot of use of slow motion through out, the one that stands out to is the shot of when you first see Avelino in the video, whiles he's with another guy all cheery. Yes I'm biased as that my cousin so I'm bound to notice that spefically.
The type of music video this is under Andrew Goodwins definition is a disjucture. Well that's what I think it is at least. This is because the lyrics ramble about some girl being into him, whiles what you see is peopel driving aroud and having a good old time just being there in the video. It doesn't take of any narrative or performance that represents the lyrics. However, it still is a good music video and still is quite appealing. I have also noticed that there isn't any objectification of women inthis music video. No women is seen being dismembered and I like that, it makes the song seem innocent when in fact it really isn't. The irony.
