The video I was evaluating was Section Boyz & Stormzy - Not That Deep Remix. The video was a fair bit longer than the typical 'grime' video which is around the 3 minute marker. In this Music Video, as in many other 'grime' videos there is no narrative. The whole song is a performance. The budget of the video was probably small and a narrative video is far more expensive than a performance. The main purpose of the video was to showcase the artists in Section Boyz and make them more marketable so people buy their music.

The Mise en scene of the video if nothing special. They are in a car park so the focus isn't on the scenery but is focused on 'Section Boyz'. The 'costumes' that are used in the music video are common of most grime videos (as seen by the picture on the right). In the video the Section Boyz wore tracksuits so that they are able to relate to their fanbase who are most likely to be from deprived areas. This links with the tracksuits as they are not flashy clothes, thus the people watching the videos feel as if the artists are of a similar background to them.
Lastly, in the music video, there are people in the background supporting the artists. This is the case in most Grime videos. It gives the artist a more hardcore look and is a common convention of a music video.
